I made this textile piece in 2021; it was originally involved in a performance series in London and Tehran. The work took inspiration from a tapestry made by my great-great grandmother. Her life-work, including her daughter became a focal point for the choreographed performance.

In its second iteration, I involve its inherent themes of heritage, intergenerationality and care with questions around consumption, preservation and resistance against exploitations.
